PRESIDENT’S UPDATE ON COVID REQUIREMENTS BEFORE RETURNING TO PLAY

INNC is working with CNA who in turn are working with Netball ACT in an endeavour to get all netballers back on the courts as soon as it is safe and possible to do so under the restrictions being applied.

Training will be able to start in the near future, provided all the safety measures are followed. This will involve not only the committee but all players, parents, coaches, team managers and even spectators to comply with all restrictions.

In the CNA statement below, released on 25 May 2020, you will note that clubs have a few boxes to tick before CNA/Netball ACT will allow training to commence.

Be assured that INNC is meeting all the requirements and is adhering to all requests from both CNA and Netball ACT.

We have completed our “Return to Play in a COVID - Safe Environment Plan” and it has been submitted to CNA for approval. As of 30 May 2020 there will be a few updates required i.e. groups of up to 20 will be allowed to train etc. All members will receive a copy of the club plan once approved by CNA.

The committee of the Inner North Netball Club are looking forward to welcoming all its members back to netball, in the meantime “stay safe”, “keep fit” and be netball ready.
